IntraVUE™ automatically Discovers, Monitors and
Documents all the devices on your Ethernet network, in real time,
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
|
Discover Your Network Automatically
Upon startup, IntraVUE™ will automatically scan your network
to discover all the existing Ethernet switches, hubs, routers and
end devices using Ping and ARP techniques. Managed devices with SNMP
support will be used by IntraVUE™ to provide additional details on
the network topology by port number and other MIB data.

Monitor Your Network 24/7 in Real Time
IntraVUE™ will continue to monitor your network around the
clock. Devices or network segments that are added, removed or fall
outside of user defined communications parameters will be
highlighted using color coded lines and shapes. In addition,
IntraVUE™ can send email messages to the appropriate personnel when
these events occur. (see
the Communicate & Connect page for more
details).

Document Your Network
IntraVUE™ maintains a detailed Event Log of all activities,
including when and where devices join or leave the network as
well as any error conditions. Events can be displayed by
individual device or a detailed summary of all events on the
entire network. Each event is date and time stamped with color
coding to highlight the event type. |

Link to Other Documentation
IntraVUE™ makes it easy to get quick access
to support documentation. Each device can have up to 12 hyperlinks
(two links for each of the six View modes) that can be used to
display any web enabled document, such as DOC, HTML, or PDF files.
These files can reside on the same computer running the
IntraVUE™ application or any number of different server devices
accessible to the network.
Accessing the Event Log for all network activity is a easy as right
clicking anywhere on the blue background area of the current View
screen to activate a popup menu, followed by a left mouse click on
the Event Log selection. In a similar manner, the Event Log and
Documentation Links for any device can be accessed by right clicking
on the device.
