  enhanced reliability.

• EOTec 6000 Racks & Power Supplies
  These "Hot Swappable" modules support
  a wide range of AC &  DC power sources.
  Use two power supplies in a node to provide redundancy.

Inter-module communications and power distribution is handled by the backplane within the  EOTec 6000 rack to minimize external wiring.

Flexible Network Topologies
Each node can support up to five (5) EIMs or OIMs to suite the application. The EOTec system allows the user to build a fiber optic system that supports several network topologies, including:

• Point-To-Point,

• Daisy-Chain,

• Self-Healing Ring,

• Star, or a basic

• Optical Repeater.
