The intrinsically safe SOI-260IS Operator Interface provides
industrial control system operators in explosion environments with
workstation performance in a small, easy-to-use package. No

requirements at the price of the SOI-260IS
The SOI-260IS control program is developed with a fill-in-the-blanks
software package (SOI-SPS), and then the program is downloaded to
the SOI-260IS. It’s that easy!
The SOI-260IS provides menu screens that can be linked together to
provide a complete set of instructions for the operator to follow
based on the application. Screen types include:
- Programmable Menus,
- Data Entry,
- Data Display,
- Security,
- Bar Graph,
- Recipe, and
- Interactive Alarms.
Advanced features include floating point entry and display, auto-
scaling, programmable entry limits, and printer forms.
The SOI-260IS also supports the powerful P/AD (Point/Access Display)
feature. The P/AD feature allows access to the entire data register
table within a PLC. This means an operator or maintenance person may
access any register location by typing in the PLC address. This is
very powerful for system start-up (debugging) and
troubleshooting.
The SOI-260IS connects directly to the programmable controller or
the PLC communications module and requires little or no programming
within the PLC.
The cost-competitive design makes it ideal for small stand- alone
applications or for multiple operator stations in a large,
distributed control system.
