| The 8000 RDI-316 digital input module
provides the capability of monitoring 16 channels of 120 VAC or VDC
input points under the supervision of a Square D Company SY/MAX®
Model 300, 400, 500, 600, 650, or 700 Processor. The module is
packaged in a steel case and plugs directly into a register slot to
provide high-density I/O.
This digital input module contains 16 optically isolated input
points. Each input is AC filtered for improved noise immunity.
Located on the front of the module are two removable terminal
strips which provide easy connection to field devices. These
terminals allow quick replacement of the module in the field.
The module requires no external power supply to operate as it
draws its power from the SY/MAX® Power Supply connected to the
rack. A removable terminal strip allows quick replacement of the
module by eliminating the need for rewiring. |
