| The 8000 RDO-732 is a 32-channel digital
output module with 4 isolated commons. This module is designed to
operate as a relay output module for the Square D Company SY/MAX®
Models 300, 400, 500, 600, and 700 processors. The module is
packaged in a steel case and plugs directly into a register slot to
provide very high density I/O.
Each output point is designed to switch up to 2.0 amps at a
maximum of either 120 Vac or 30 Vdc. Additionally, each output point
has a corresponding red LED indicator on the upper front of the
module which illuminates when the output is turned ON by the
processor. The output relays are allowed to operate only when the
processor keyswitch is in the RUN position. The LEDs, however,
operate in both the RUN and DISABLE OUTPUTS positions.
Also located on the front of the module are two removable
terminal strips which support 32 outputs and 4 commons (1 common per
8 outputs). These removable terminal strips allow quick replacement
of the module by eliminating the need for rewiring.
