Sequence of Events / Fault Recorders provide a precise, time stamped history of the state transitions that occur on the discrete input points they monitor with 1ms resolution.

The ProTime SER is a distributed I/O module that mounts on a standard DIN rail. Each module contains 32 inputs. Up to 250 ProTime SER cards can be synchronized together to build an event recording system with up to 8000 points.

For customers using Modicon® 984 & Quantum™ series PLCs, Monaghan Engineering offers embedded SOE solutions.

The SERx5300 Module for Quantum™ & the M884/807 module for 984/800 series I/O provide 32 input points to the PLC with a permanent record of high speed events which occur within milliseconds of each other.

The GPS100 External Time Reference (ETR) interface card is designed to synchronize multiple SER cards to an external time reference such as an IRIG-B time code signal or a GPS receiver.

By using GPS receiver, time synchronization, event recorders located hundreds of miles apart can be synchronized to within 1 millisecond at each remote location.

Suitable for use with any of the above products, the GPS300 from Monaghan Engineering is a complete GPS receiver and embedded antenna. The GPS300 will track up to twelve satellites at a time while providing one-second navigation updates and low power consumption.
