Monaghan Engineering ProTime SER Networking

The communications features of the ProTime SER module makes it easy to distribute Sequence of Events capabilities where you need it. Using the integrated serial or 10/100BaseT Ethernet ports on each module, event data and point status values can be readily accessed by PLCs, RTUs, SCADA Masters and local HMI stations.

Any ProTime SER module can receive its time synchronization from another SER module, an IRIG-B time code signal or a direct interface to a GPS300 GPS receiver. The ProTime SER can also act as a time sync master to synchronize other SER modules over a Time Sync Bus that uses an RS-485 link over ordinary twisted pair shielded cable. Up to 250 ProTime SER modules can be synchronized together to build an event recording system with up to 8000 points.
