The JH200 Series
Two-Wire Transmitter family from JH Technology offers a unique
combination of performance and features in a low-cost, compact
package. Available for use with most standard inputs, the
transmitters provide a proportional loop-powered 4/20mA output.
Every model includes a built-in Quick-Check LED indicates loop
current: dim at 4mA, bright at 20mA.
Field-selectable models, available for thermocouples and RTD
(resistance thermometer) inputs, include 16-position zero and span
switches plus trimpots for recalibration over a wide range of gains
and offsets. The thermocouple version allows selection of type J, K
or T inputs. Fixed-range models, factory calibrated to better than
0.1%, may be ordered for use with any standard thermocouple.
Low-drift amplifiers assure minimum drift over the entire -40 to +80
degree C operating range. RTD transmitters linearize 100 ohm
platinum resistance thermometers: thermocouple models include
automatic cold junction compensation but not linearization.
JH200 Series transmitters do not include input/output isolation.
For applications that require isolation, JH Technology offers a
comprehensive selection of panel & field mount signal
conditioners.
The JH200's 1-3/4 inch diameter enclosure fits most standard
thermocouple heads. Or, simply use two screws (#8 or smaller) to
mount the transmitter to any surface. An optional DIN-rail mounting
clip is available.
